**It was actually a talk, “Intravenous Ascorbate and Standard Therapies in Oncology: The state of the science, application and practice of intravenous ascorbate with standard oncologic therapies” from last week's OncANP conference, by Paul Anderson, ND, that got me fired up to write this post. Lisa Mauer, a Purdue University professor of food science; Lynne Taylor, a professor of industrial and physical pharmacy; and graduate student Rebecca Lipasek study deliquescence, a reaction in which humidity causes a crystalline solid to dissolve. As early as in 1949, vitamin C was implicated in cancer therapy. They wanted to In Mauer's laboratory, different anti-caking agents were blended with powdered sodium ascorbate, a common form of vitamin C, and were exposed to different relative humidities. Calcium Ascorbate is natural form of Vitamin C, wich is much more readily absorbed in the blood stream and is better than Sodium ascorbate as a source of Ascorbic acid because sodium often raise blood pressure. In 1949, Pauling and his colleagues published a paper in Science that announced the discovery of the cause of sickle-cell anemia, the first disease to be described as a molecular disease. The use of vitamin C in cancer prevention and treatment is another one of those controversial topics in oncology that I feel compelled to write about. Since then, several research articles have been published exploring the role of ascorbate in cancer therapy. They forgot to add a metal element to bond within vitamin C to be less aggressive form of vitamin C and more apsorbable. Among the plethora of literature discussing the relationship between vitamin C .. Researchers at Mount Sinai School of Medicine have shown that Vitamin C actively protects against osteoporosis, the findings are published in the October online edition of PloS ONE. Like calcium, magnesium, or zinc or potassium ascorbate. NATUREZ-C Calcium Ascorbate, enriched with Moringa Forte, fortified with Zinc, now with Soy Science.
